Hollywood Pictures is one of the preparation names of The Walt Disney Studios, a division of The Walt Disney Company. Comparative to Disney's Touchstone and previous Miramax and Dimension film marks, it handled movies for a more full grown-up group of onlookers than Walt Disney Pictures.On account of the achievement of Disney's experienced film division Touchstone Pictures, yet an alternate Disney-identified film mark was secured as Hollywood Pictures on February 1, 1989. The organization's first discharge was Arachnophobia (1990).

A Fisherman's Tale:
Two fellas are fishing in a boat under a bridge.
One looks up and sees a funeral procession starting across the bridge.
He stands up, takes off his cap, and bows his head.
The procession crosses the bridge and the man puts on his cap, picks up his rod and reel, and continues fishing.
